ARCHER: So I guess you just fuckin'... write about whatever happened during your day?
I can dig that. We already kind of have an outlet for that, it's called 750 Words and it's basically a website where you plunk down and try to throw out 750 words of whatever you want every day. You get achievements and shit if you get streaks of days. (...Our highest is 45.) But a lot of that is for deeply personal stuff that no one else is meant to see, which makes anything we put on Dreamwidth pretty different by default -- and also, there's no mandatory length minimum for entries.
[CYRUS: Though that probably won't stop us from talking endlessly anyhow.]
ARCHER: True.
...But to be honest we kinda wound up sleeping most of the day? Our sleep schedule has been fucked to hell and back the past few days because on Wednesday I thought I'd be clever and pull an all-nighter to get my homework done, instead of have to go to bed early so we could actually wake up for our 8AM class but with no homework in hand.
That was a mistake.

2017-04-01 23:35 (UTC)Needless to say this week's been nothing but sleep and empty promises to get shit done and here the laundry sites on the couch; the clean dishes in the dishwasher-the floor not vacuumed... *sighs*

2017-04-01 23:39 (UTC)We managed to do like half the dishes and take out the trash yesterday, but also weren't even able to go to class because our body was so disoriented by the sleep cycle thing. And of course no homework got done. People who swear by all-nighters when they have 8am classes the next day are honestly a freaking enigma to us.

2017-04-01 23:46 (UTC)And yeahI know they don't, it's just...sometimes I forget. :/ I've been doing that too much lately, and I've only got a few more days before the bio-mother comes into town so it's now crunch time.
Thankcfully I've got tomorrow, most of Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday, so I should be good.
She's not coming in until late Thursday, but I've sort of marked that day as out because intern schedule. It's noon to six, and depending on when the bus gets me home, it very well could be.

2017-04-02 01:09 (UTC)As it is, I have to get up at like 5 or five thirty because my bus service says to give you an hour and a half to get to where you're going so I have to set my rid up at at least 7:30 to get to my class at nine.
It kinda sucks.

2017-04-02 02:39 (UTC)Next year we'll be commuting through the bus system too, so that's another great reason never to take an 8AM ever, ever again.
the pronouns are so weird in this one because technically i'm the one doing all the work but everyone is thereno subject
2017-04-02 02:43 (UTC)Most often if I'm talking class-staff I use "we" but mainly because it's me and Jay doing most of the class-work. Rillin'll help sometimes, but I have a rule as main decision maker that you've had to study te field out there on your own time before you come here and massage people so you know what we're doing-and it's mainly been me, Jay, Del and Inara that's done most of that. I mean Rillin has, too, but he's my twin-so I kinda expected that of him. xd

2017-04-02 11:29 (UTC)Especially now with the internship where we actually *need* to massage people-and people pay for our services now.
Have fun. He.

2017-04-11 04:53 (UTC)You *can* put personal stuff on DW. It isn't like Tumblr where you can only have either public or private posts. You can have posts that are locked only to people you added to your journal. This'd be more like you having a Tumblr setting that only showed things to people you have as mutuals. There're also access filters which you can make. Those allow you to show things to only certain mutuals or groups of mutuals.
OMG 750 Words! We remember that site. Axel used to use it religiously! We should poke at it some more! :D
Also, I really should put myself on the disambiguation post up there. Figured what we'd do is stick it to the top of the journal and then as people show up they can add themselves in.

2017-04-11 05:32 (UTC)... Actually, earlier tonight I was debating starting up a 'deep dark' personal filter for us to use for stuff like that. But no one could really decide whether we needed one or not, and then the idea came up to write an entry asking people if we should use it, but then we realized that no one could answer that question except us... and then we just kinda dropped the idea because our download finished and we had to get back to doing homework.
Honestly, 750 Words is the best. It's so great to have an actual log of events and feelings that happened that day, with DATES! Since time is a very vague and nebulous concept to us, having this was a revelation.

2017-04-11 05:47 (UTC)It appears they've added a thing to let you follow people since the last time Axel was lurking around over there. Would you like an add? We could cheer you on in your writing endeavours.
Amen to time being nebulous! I'm doing our words right now, but we're confused. The site asks us to check our email, and we did, but there's no confirmation email. BUT we have really missed freewriting. It sure helped Axel a lot.

2017-04-11 06:04 (UTC)Hmm. Maybe it's just taking their servers a while? I mean as long as it's letting you save your words, it should be fine, one would think...
